: island

I redid the textures for the island - also removed the original trees. I may add them back in around the base but they'll be absolutely tiny. I painted a texture map for this but the texture is also supplemented by a procedural shader for that mossy rock look. The main lighting and shadows comes from a directional light that is aligned with the sun disc in the hdri environment. This still needs some atmospheric treatment among other things.

the final island geometry was rendered using a combination of displacement and normal maps. The base mesh is about 5K polygons.
